KINDNESS: 11/19/2009 5:06:17 AM One of the fruits of the spirit is kindness. Yesterday I decided to get some supplies at Lowes here in Topeka KS. I run out of gas on 29th street. I was able to limp along to the Oriental Express Café close to a gas station. The rear end of the truck was protruding out on the busy street. While standing next to my hearse wondering what to do, out come 5 or 6 big Orientals asking me if I needed a push. I was very thankful! One of the employees gave me a ride to Gregg Tire to get some gas. I was indeed very thankful to the Oriental Express employees for giving me a push away from danger. Later on the way to the downtown Y for my almost daily workout my ’95 Toyota needed some gas. While pumping the gas at 6th & Lane I had a short conversation with a disabled Veteran in need. He had only $1.35 to place fuel into his vehicle. He was trying to make it to KCMO. I felt sorry for him. So I used my card and filled up his vehicle with gas. I gave thi...

MY JOURNEY: 8/25/2009 6:24:33 AM My journey the last two days has literally taken me to Kansas City Missouri. I commuted via automobile and used our GPS to get back and forth. One of my many journeys in life is the market. I’ve been learning how to properly buy and sell options using the latest technology. So I guess I’d better get busy. Myron

AMERICAN SENIORS.ORG 8/21/2009 5:20:30 AM I guess it’s about time to join this organization. Sally & I keep getting literature from AARP and we keep throwing the solicitations away. I just heard from FOX/TV that ASA is offering two years for the price of one. At least I should check out the web address, www.americanseniors.org Mark and I are deep into painting our city barn. For those of you not in the know, I built a city barn a few years ago. The dimensions are 16 x 20 x 15 The Topeka compliance department sent me a certified letter stating that I needed to paint it or demolish it. I chose to paint it. I’ll do my video blog from our work site tomorrow ..( if I feel like it). I abandoned downloading myownfaith2@myownfaith2.com to my Outlook Express email. I downloaded over 47,000 emails and the program still had over 11,000 emails yet to download. I elected to abandon this wasteful computer function. There are more important things to do in my world. REACHING OUT TO THE REL...

THE INTERNET: 8/20/2009 4:56:36 AM The Internet is a powerful tool of communication. Just yesterday our little www.topeka912project.com group met at a secret location here in Topeka KS. We discussed our progress. I’m on the brochure committee. Then I was finally able to download my emails from ONE of my many emails. You can spend too much time deleting 99.9 % of the junk/spam entering my inbox. When one is a webmaster for my own faith 2 dot com one must also be aware of all those folks wanting your money. BEWARE! The good news is yesterday Mark and I were able to paint the city barn. We finished the north side. The neighbors are pleased .. maybe. My daily listening to the Bible is doing very well too. I’m into the gospel of Mark. When I was visiting my mother and also participating in the Honey Days in Bruce SD, the Lutheran church was offering a CD on the new testament. I picked up a copy. Guess I’ll save this and post to our web. myron@myownfaith2.com

AMERICANS FOR PROSPERITY: 8/19/2009 7:41:44 AM Last night I attended an American for Prosperity meeting. Kim Borchers was the host. We watched another series on Milton Friedman’s economic 101 theories. If only our government would listen! OH WELL Also, Mark and I are in the process of painting our city barn. The city sent me a letter that I need to paint it or destroy it. I choose to paint it. My neighbor should be pleased. We have to paint in between raindrops. I appears to be rainy today. Guess I’d better get busy. myron@myownfaith2.com

7/19/2009 8:26:08 AM MEMORY LANE: Another Memory Lane for me is about the most trusted man in America, Walter Cronkite of CBS I remember watching Walter Cronkite in all the news regarding our nation. I first remember watching the JFK murder in Nov 1963. I was a freshman at SDSU and was getting ready for a biology lab lecture on cutting up frogs. The instructor came and said all classes at school has been cancelled, the President has been shot. So I proceeded to watch TV at the student union and there was Walter Cronkite. So the name Walter Cronkite was indeed a household name at the Adolph & CeCe home. We used to watch the CBS news from our then black and white TV. RIP my friend, myron@myownfaith2.com

7/5/2009 6:44:21 AM The day after. OK>> It’s the day after the BIG party. Now it’s time to get back to doing what you do best. So far I’m still trying to figure out what that is? Here’s another web page that I replied to: http://myownfaith.blogspot.com/ http://cjonline.com/news/2009-07-05/hispanic_church_faces_foreclosure#new I do NOT have the answer other than to turn to Jesus for help. While one is turning to Jesus, one can ask US about reliv.com Signed, myron@myownfaith2.com

June 16, 2009 | By Nathaniel Ward Iran's sham election Last Friday's Iranian presidential election yielded a result that should surprise few who understand the regime's true nature: hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was declared the winner, by a landslide. Many Iranians had supported Mir Hossain Mousavi, whose foreign policy largely resembled Ahmadinejad's, albeit with less confrontational rhetoric. The apparent competition between incumbent Ahmadinejad and three other candidates led many foreign observers to believe that Iran's election would actually reflect the will of the voters. Heritage Foundation Middle East expert Jim Phillips reminds us, however, that "Iran's government is not a true democracy but a theocratic dictatorship that cloaks the rule of the ayatollahs with a façade of representative government." Heritage experts have called on President Obama to approach this abrogation of democracy by firmly "denouncing the elections and ...

4/1/2009 5:13:33 AM ECONOMICS: Our world is meeting in London England for an economic summit called G-10. There are lots of protestors. Conficker worm is a hacker computer virus. Do you suppose it could attack our home computers? I’m scheduled to have my left shoulder manipulated. I have what is called adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder). I had this same health problem maybe twelve years ago. What happens is they shoot my neck with deadener and the Dr. then grabs my shoulder and crunches me. OUCH!! But I’ve been in pain for months, and it’s time to get it taken care of. Sally & I will be going to the round-a-bout this morning. My good friend Jim Cates broadcasts daily from this café. I’m trying to go through paperwork. Today is April fools day. I’m not in a joking mood right now. Loe you Madeline … you’re #2 on my bucket list. L8r myron@myownfaith2.com

2/19/2009 5:28:03 AM I do my best thinking at this time. Notice the date/time. Yesterday, Sally left with our Pastor to attend a Lutheran church liturgy. She rode with Jolana P. From what I understand, they’ll pick up Sara T. at the airport somewhere. She called last night and was at our pastor’s parents home in Normal IL. They had a good trip. I now have to fend for myself here at home. My
