3/2/2010 6:17:29 AM THE INTERNET: The Internet is a powerful tool of communication. Sally & I use the Internet on a daily basis. Unfortunately, bad people also use the Internet. I’m thinking of all those 911 terrorists who have turned our country upside down. The Muslims who crashed our planes into buildings used the Internet. So, when someone sends you an email to check out a website, BEWARE! If the email address and/or web address is NOT known, don’t open it. It’s OK to visit our web though. Now I understand that that Topeka KS is on the GOOGLE.com list for high speed Internet. That would be wonderful. I use google daily for my blogs. myron@myownfaith2.com

Here’s are some of them: - www (world wide web) - the web - http:// - https:// (secure) - ISP (Internet Service Provider) - Blog (web log) These are just a few of the names when you refer to the Internet. Here are some that come to mind. - cyberspace - web - www Just to name a few. Here are my thoughts about the Internet. The web has changed lives forever. The reason I say this is because the web is the last frontier of free speech! I am able to FREELY write what I want, when I want and FREELY post my writings to whatever web site I feel like. 12/18/2008 6:30:31 AM SO MANY WEBSITES.. (so little time): That’s going to be the title of my next blog. The Internet is a powerful tool of communication. For example, yesterday I asked our church secretary to run some flyers for Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. She made me some copies, but had our phone # wrong and also our web address. But not to worry.. thanks to the pen to scratch out the typo errors. I took the liberty to stamp in our reliv stamp also. Now it’s just a matter of marketing our product. 11/14/2008 5:22:38 AM OUTLOOK EXPRESS: Sally & I use outlook Express for our email program. OE is a very good email program. Like any computer one must be very careful by doing a “reply to all” in one’s correspondence. Many folks don’t want to be bothered by those pesky emails wanting to help you with your sexual problems, etc. I don’t know how many ways I can pay off my already paid off mortgage. Remember, the wonderful world of cyberspace, also has bad people in there. Just be AWARE that there’s pedophiles who would like nothing more than to clean out your wallet or your life using your PERSONAL computer. Just a warning my friends.
