Dear God

Dear GOD:

It’s been a while since I’ve written to you and I’m sorry for that.

You know every day I awaken and ask you “WHAT CAN I DO FOR YOU TODAY?”

SO I’M ASKING YOU.

I’ve been good Lord. I know I know, that will not get me front door privileges or anything like that. I remember reading the bible and somewhere in the good book of James? Paul refers to that “Good works will not get you into heaven.” But I want to do good works for you my Lord.

So I write.

Sally has been struggling with her new CPAC machine. The Dr. wants her to get used to it. She has severe sleep apnea. I’m praying for her to get used to the new sleep machine.

My #1 prodigal son and his lovely wife still do not want to communicate with me. I’m asking for your help Lord. Soften the hearts of John & Kim.

My grand daughter is growing up and I’m not allowed to see her.

What’s with that?

That’s about it for this week Jesus.

Guess I’ll get ready to worship you today, as it’s Sunday.

Tell Sally I’ll be heading for my 2nd church today.

Please look up the prodigal son parable. I believe you have the wrong definition. You have disowned your son on at least 6 occasions. You have yet to take responsibility for your actions. You say you have forgiven us (for what I am not sure) but you continue to call me evil and your son a wimp...

FIRED!

7/30/2008 7:53:33 AM FIRED! Yes Indeed, I got Fired! Let me explain. From my writings above, Sally & I attended an all high school reunion in Bruce SD. So I filled out a leave slip (TWICE) to leave July 21-25, 2008. I turned my request for leave in much earlier and trusted that my team manager, Paul Miller, would sign the form and approve this request. I even remember visiting with the three of us when I was “counseled” once for not telling a customer the right info. I explained to them that we were planning to leave this last week and I would be willing to work with Alorica on Saturdays to make up the difference. The chief operating manager told me verbally he would happy to approve any leave and if I wanted to make up the hours I could do so. So I take Alorica’s word for what they tell me. I do NOT even think about getting any written agreements. What ever happened to trust? Forget it! So I proceed to make up the hours I’d be missing and arrive outside my scheduled hour...
