Troy is the founder and president of the American Ghost Society, a national network of ghost hunters that collects accounts of ghost sightings and haunted houses and uses investigative techniques to track down evidence of the supernatural. The conference will be held February 6-7 at the Kansas City Garden Hilton. Sessions will feature investigation techniques, case studies, research and equipment. History and Hauntings during the Blood and Victory Tour of Lawrence
Saturday Night Tour of Lawrence
Tour departs at 8PM August 2 from the Eldridge Hotel at 7th and Massachusetts Avenue. Locations on the tour include the brothel house, Haskell Cemetery, Sigma Nu building and the hanging bridge. Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing since we will get off of the bus at several locations. Due to the sensitive nature of the tour, visitors must be age 12 and over. Tickets are $17.50 per person and can be ordered online

Heritage Tours planned during Railroad Days
Explore Topeka's history during two new Railroad Days tours. Tours will begin at 9 a.m. August 30 at Overland Station and will depart throughout the day.
-Railroad Tour, Historian Doug Wallace will guide the featuring stories and locations of importance to the rail heritage of Topeka.
-Underground Railroad tour will be guided by historian Chris Meinhardt, and will feature Underground Railroad locations.
Tours will last about 1 hour, all ages welcome. Ticket price $10. Tickets can be ordered online
