3/30/2009 6:16:12 AM Dear God: I know – I know, I’ve just blogged with you yesterday. You don’t mind Lord if I write to you again, do you? I have apologized many times to my daughter-in-law Kim for downloading my only grandchild’s hospital’s website. I remember Kim calling me, chewing me out on my cell. At the time Lord, I was taken back by her call. You see Lord; my only grand daughter was probably only one month old. The hospital’s web site was soon to discontinue the new birth’s web page. I wanted to save it on my computer. So I was in the process of doing just that my Lord when Kim called. She was angry. I was puzzled by her anger. I then said something like, “I don’t know how the hospital’s web page got into our web. That was a true response as I was in the process of making it password protected.. Kim in turn called me a liar. She then informed me that I would no longer be able to see Madeline until I apologize. I apologized just to make her happy. It didn’t work. K

3/20/2009 6:07:26 AM Financial Peace: Last night Carol H. and I attended FPU @ our church. The Dave Ramsey’s DVD was titled “Retirement and College”. Both of these subjects were a N/A as I am both retired and there’s no need to go to college. But Carol was glad to attend and we had an interesting table talk afterwards. Later, we attempted to load a Microsoft excel program on her computer. Once again it did not work. There’s a key code missing of which Carol does not know key. I guess I’ll need to find the original CD somewhere in my CD/DVD collections. I noticed that my product is dated 2000 and Carol’s is dated 2003 .. another challenge which I want to tackle. Yesterday I spent most of the day working on Charlie. Our dog is our lappa-apso (Iknow-I know, word does’nt know what that word is) Charlie looks a little better. I accomplished a number of things in grooming Charlie .. one he needed it – two it gives me pleasure to show my love to our pet. By sharing our love to a loved one, it gives us satisfaction in return. A pet in ones life is greater than any thing of value. Maybe I should label this blog my pet. Around 3:00 AM this AM I was awakened to a beep-beep-beep noise. It was my laptop rebooting itself. I have a hardware error too. I keep wanting to bring my laptop to the Computer Store to have it fixed, but it’s like anything else, it can wait. I thought I was dreaming. So I’m ½ awake and open the lid and realize that there’s an automatic reboot installed in my DELL laptop xp version. Sometimes it’s hard to realize that these machines are only machines. District 53 Constituents and Friends: The House is continuing to work bills from the Senate and develop a budget for the 2010 fiscal year (starting July 1, 2009). We are learning more about what federal stimulus money might be coming our way and what we have to do to get it. I also have news about fuel tax money coming to Shawnee and Douglas counties for roads and highways. See details below. 2009 BUDGET UPDATE February revenues were short $12 million below estimates. We already received $71 million from the federal stimulus package for Medicaid that will be credited to this 2009 fiscal year, so that pretty much ensures we will get through June 30 in the black. 2010 BUDGET UPDATE – STIMULUS MONEY FOR KANSAS We now know what stimulus monies could be coming to Kansas and Governor Sebelius incorporated some of that money into her revised 2010 budget. Does that make me a religious zealot? – so be it. Last night our Lenten services were a little different. Instead of services being in the sanctuary, we had the services in the kitchen area, hence, a table talk. I’ll scan the week one question and make an image for this blog. Also yesterday, I was able to move a TV from Sally’s cluttered office to the family room. View some of my previous video blogs and you’ll see what I mean. I went to take the dead TV to Best Buy to have it recycled, thinking I would make a cool ten bucks – not so.. They will give you a ten dollar coupon in exchange for ten dollars. OH WELL – better than have it rejected by the city refuse or causing environmental damage somewhere. I did my duty for the environment. Al Gore should be proud! Guess Ill post the table talk

3/2/2009 7:16:18 AM IT’S MONDAY: Yes indeed, it’s Monday and this retired body actually looked out the window on his way to the coffee. My radio listening will be changing today too. KMAJ/AM axed Steve Forman from 6-8 AM Monday-Friday’s slot. I guess I’ll be turning to 580 AM to get my local news. I’m just glad I’m not expecting any income from working in radio.
