Table Talk

Morning public blogger readers:

You know it’s possible to reply to my PUBLIC blogs.

Last night the table talk around our Lenten Supper was titled :”How much is enough?”

Read Matthew: 6:9-13

Question 3

Why do some have and some have not? Does God only answer this prayer on behalf of those with whom God is pleased?

LORD’S PRAYER (WEEK 3)

Tonight, we come into the presence of our God, praying with our Savior as he taught us to pray:

OUR FATHER IN HEACEN, HALLOWED BE YOUR NAME: YOUR KINGDOM COME, YOUR WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IN HEAVEN. GIVE US TODAY OUR DAILY BREAD
We pray this for ourselves but also for people who are hungry throughout the world.

GIVE US TODAY OUR DAILY BREAD.
We ask not just for daily bread, but for all our daily needs.

GIVE US TODAY OUR DAILY BREAD:
We ask for work that gratifies, for relationships that satisfy, and for homes that provide shelter.

GIVE US TODAY OUR DAILY BREAD.
We ask for governments that are just, for communities that are safe, and schools that are.

OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN, HALLOWED BE YOUR NAME;
YOUR KINGDOM COME, YOUR WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN. GIVE US TODAY OUR DAILY BREAD.

We discussed this question and 5 other questions while eating.

Another wonderful way to celebrate our Lord.
