DIABETES

I have learned that I am a type 2 diabetic. So now what! I am attending a training session at 29th & Urish, attending my 1st class yesterday. Stay tuned for more links.

Also, I was a public speaking conferee at last night Topeka city council meeting. Stay tuned for more info.

The good thing I did yesterday was getting our taxes in BEFORE the oct 15th extension deadline. Hope I did it right!

So little time … so many websites!

I am supposed to be at two places at once today. If anyone reading this can related, I would appreciate a reply.

I have agreed to be master of ceremonies for my friend Sonny Scroggins at the statehouse. I know nothing about the plight of the black soldier called the buffalo soldier. So I did the next best thing. I did a search on the web and lo and behold here is a good site to read.

DIABETES (week one)

My first week with dealing with diabetes went well. I was over my blood sugar only once. I’ve been pricking my finger faithfully twice a day and journalizing my findings.

Now if only we could get Julie S. an insulin pump.
