Year End In review

YEAR END THOUGHTS:

Well, another year is almost over .. THANK GOD!

I love to watch all these year-end TV folks talk about the 2009 year in review. CBS Sunday morning ran a year in review of the deaths in 2009. The individuals I was able to quickly write down were:

Ted Kennedy
Michael Jackson
Farah Faucett
Ed McMahon
Patrick Swazie

To name a few.

I’m pleased to announce that

Myron Holter

Is NOT on the list.

Good Morning Myron!

The two most outstanding things for me for the year 2009 (which I thought you might enjoy) were actually done in 2008 at MIT (I just saw them this year). In fact, I thought them important enough to post both of them (each a 1.5 hour video) on our company WWW site - http://www.ediguys.net.

The first one is Dr. Clayton Christensen's "The Innovator's Prescription:  A Disruptive Solution for Health Care" presentation on May 13, 2008.

The second is Shai Agassi's "From IT to Cleantech:  New Sources of Innovation" presentation (the electric car business model) on December 4, 2008.

Of course, as I've been preparing for the upcoming LBI Class of 1965 45th Year Reunion, I've been looking over the history of the past 5 years and find the "Year in Review" WWW sites to be quite interesting.

Which reminds me, we're devoting a segment to the reunion WWW page (and hope to be able to do a live online stream), would you consider doing a video to be played during the reunion WWW page segment?

At any rate, if you find you have a couple of spare 1.5 hours, then hit the links above.

Happy New Year!

Good Morning Myron!

Well, you'll have to point me in the right WWW direction after you get your video assembled (I was thinking you'd just put it up on your blog, but you might want to FTP it up to a unique location on one of your WWW sites).

Recall that the majority of the folks attending (or viewing) are going to be right-wing "Christians" (cf. e. g., the view of one of the alumni as referenced on the LBI Class of 1965 45th Year Reunion "Forum" WWW site [item 2 in the Forum "Message Archive"]). So, you won't have to do much "selling" as most of them will be involved in MLM (or other pyramid / ponzi schemes) also (even one of the "radical" alumni is into Quixtar [believe it or not]!) I don't believe that any of the atheist alumni are involved in MLM, and that'd be an doubly hard sell (;-)

With only 20 minutes to work with and my having to cover the reunion WWW site too, I was just thinking of a simple greeting to fellow classmates (as a way to show them the capability of video on the 'Net [and if it was on your blog WWW site, then I could introduce them to the "social networking" {Web 2.0, or is it Web 3.0 [the "Semantic Web"]?) elements of the 'Net also) . . . .

Over and out for now . . .
