I was unfortunately able to make it to Kansas because of other obligations but I am still working on my projects as stated. I am still looking forward to meeting you and of course interviewing you for the book I will be writing about men from all over the world. In response to memorial services for fellow citizens , no disrespect is intended. After over 23 years, the Stop the Violence Memorial Tree Dedication Committee Ministry's contribution has ever meant any disrespect to families or communities by holding a service for victims.

The memorial ministry services are gifts to communities across America. I explained myself and my motives for what I do across this county on the Jim Cates Show/Capital Journal on 11.10.2008

Mr. and Mrs. Citizen, I respect privacy, The memorial services are more about community awareness and violence and loss of life occurring around us, in hopes that the degrees of violence and loss of life might lessen.

As far as taking advantage of someone or an opportunity is ridiculous. This group or any I am involved with have never and will never ask for or accept any type of payment for our services.

To all those who commented on whether or not the Memorial Committee consulted with the family before acting, that is the procedure that has always been followed and it happened in this situation. No exploitation is involved with the agenda of the Stop the Violence Memorial Tree Dedication Committee Ministries. Because of the character assassinations (from now on, if there are problems, the family can call and state their concerns, then the service meant for a particular individual will turn into a nameless and facelee victim; that being the case, the media will be asked not to attend other than that it service as usual

As far as publicity goes, I nor the SVMTDC Ministries needs it or wants other than to let those those who have malice in their hearts know that any type of violence is not acceptable.

It is so easy for others to sit back, do nothing and critize others who are trying to make this a better world. So to all those who are criticizing me, what are you doing or have done to make this world better? After dedicating over 250 trees and 23 years of ministry speaking out against violence and loss of life, the naysayers comments seem suspect.
